5 Reasons to Fix Your Power Rates
1. Income taxes are going up for utility companies.
2. Fracking is dead.
3. Liquified Natural Gas (LNG) is "exploding." Overseas consumption is much bigger than expected. Electricity prices are based on LNG.
4. LNG will be in "negative storage" for the last half of 2021, which means there won't be enough in storage to meet domestic demand. Prices will go up significantly.
5. Example: Hourly pricing went up 600% over 2 days during the "polar vortex" of January 2014.
